The contract to erase modern slavery from this planet by the year 2020 has been signed. The religious leaders took a beautiful picture to remember the event. Amma published the photo on her old-new Facebook page. But right in the midst of the classical avalanche of lovey-dovey praises, some internet users have had the guts to post "different" comments. Why are they still available online? Where is Amma's e-censorship Dream Team when we most need it? We have captured some of these comments in a dedicated album, just in case. We kindly ask our dear readers to take a look at some of the scandalous statements below :
"I wonder how some of these "enlightened" charlatans will justify some of the statements found in their “holy” books:
Leviticus 25:44-46 “As for your male and female slaves whom you may have: you may buy male and female slaves from among the nations that are around you. You may also buy from among the strangers who sojourn with you and their clans that are with you, who have been born in your land, and they may be your property. You may bequeath them to your sons after you to inherit as a possession forever. You may make slaves of them, but over your brothers the people of Israel you shall not rule, one over another ruthlessly.”
Ephesians 6:5 “Slaves, obey your earthly masters with fear and trembling, with a sincere heart, as you would Christ”
33:50 - "Prophet, We have made lawful to you the wives to whom you have granted dowries and the slave girls whom God has given you as booty."
….tricky business…"
"hmm?
a nice empty gesture. sort of like climate summits.
how about stopping all other atrocities, terrorist attacks in the name of islam, denouncing wars and all nations eradications in the name of Christianity in the past ... ?
in fact how about anouncing an immediate the end of all religions
- in the name of God - if you must?
!"
"so what are they gonna do about pedophiles in the church??"
"But Muslim women are still slaves and child bearing machines. This inhumanity should be stopped."
"Slavery is entrenched in one of the religions represented here. I'd be more impressed if the leaders of the Hindu religion acted to abolish the underclass known as Dalits AKA untouchables."
"OK. I'm sorry in advance for pointing out that the religions here, have HUGE culpability for slavery in the first place. Kind of like a texas oilmen's club coming finally for climate control. Or like one of those portraits where they managed to photograph some elusive mafia members in a single photo."
Critical remarks can be read here and there, obviously they have been posted by non-devotee internet users. Things are usually easier for Amma. She publishes photos about her own events, so she gets comments from her devotees. But this time she partook to a global event involving the most socially and politically powerfull religious leaders. It is normal that all internet users flock to comment all accounts made about this. Maybe it wouldn't be safe to remove the critical comments. Erasing all negative posts is likely to start a rumor in social media, pretenting that the Mother of Compassion resorts to censorship.
It's ok anyway because there are thousands of enthusiastic comments, lauding Her Holiness the All Loving Ever Radiant Divine Pure Mother of Compassion and Pope Francis for leading such a great initiative. We are sorry to announce to the fervent supporters that things are not as poetic as they seem.
To begin with, Pope Francis is not the man behind the charity. Ending slavery is not even born from the will of worldwide nice religious leaders, seeking interfaith unity for peace to settle down on Earth. This project has been planned by an Australian billionaire whose vision of life has been changed by a striking experience. Mr Andrew 'Twiggy' Forrest has been acting for the past four years in order to achieve this. He had to negociate during a whole year for religious leaders to commit into his project.
Many altruistic people work hard everyday to end all kinds of atrocities in our world. For the first time, religious leaders indulge in providing efforts with one of them. How come? What is so special about this man? He is a billionaire! Is Mr Forrest dangling banknotes under their nose for them to embrace this philantropic plan? Are our Godmen and Godwomen so perverted that they need to be corrupted in order to finally accept to do what they preach?
The second shadow on this beautiful picture is pretty confusing :
"Pope Francis has invited Mata Amritanandamayi to the Vatican and their meeting is scheduled to take place on December 2. Amma is now on a European tour and will shortly leave for the US as well. According to sources close to Mata, the invitation was extended to her five months back, but due to her prior commitments, she confirmed the date only a few days ago."In fact, the end-slavery project started in 2010. She was invited to get involved during 2014 summer. But she agreed to come in November 2014, only two weeks before the summit. Should we understand that the Embodiment of Love is so busy that she doesn't have much time left to save the world? Saving the world, isn't it supposed to be precisely her full-time job? It seems like this worldwide acclaimed initiative never raised her interest. Does she know that this ambitious project is supposed to try to change the life of at least 13,000,000 people in India? Has she been part of the negociations with Mr Forrest? Or did she "hop off" at the last moment to serve a fast Preach n' Sign dish because she was told to do so?
The first press release made by Amritapuri just said that Amma was about to meet Pope Francis. No mention was made about the true purpose, the humanitarian side of this meeting. No word to tell that it was about trying to release millions of people from unfair and cruel burdens, in collaboration with all main religions and governements. Only revelling in selfish advertisement as usual, making the audience believe that she was about to be THE special unique guest of Vatican. We may sound rude :-( sorry )-: but we really feel like she doesn't give a shit about the fate of Humanity.
